Register of Dentists, 1899-1957.

Description: Docket kept by the Prothonotary's Office for registering dentists.

Content: This docket records the name of the dentist, place of birth, residence, dental degree, institution, date, date of license by the Pennsylvania State Dental Council, signature of Prothonotary and the date recorded.

Registration of Dentist Diplomas, 1883-1897.

Description: Docket kept by the Recorder of Deeds Office for registering dentists.

Content: The first 4 pages of this docket are a copy of an Act to Regulate the Practice of Dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania and penalties for the violation of the same. The remainder of the docket lists registration number, dentist's name, oath of justice of the peace, dentist's address, how long they have been practice there, the date sworn, the date recorded and the recorder's name.

Diplomas for Doctors, Dentists and Veterinarians, 1886-1896, 1899, 1900, 1902, 1914.

Description: Handwritten copies of Diplomas kept by the county.

Content: The diplomas are written in Latin. They list the date filed; name of doctor, dentist or veterinarian; name of college or university and location; and type of degree. May also have signatures of professors and what they taught.
