Tramp Register, 1886-1895.
Description: Register of persons labeled tramps or vagrants that were temporarily allowed to stay at the almshouse. These books cannot be searched by mail or email request, as they are not indexed. They are arranged chronologically by recording date.
Content: The register lists the person's name, date of admission, on whose order they were admitted, cause of admission, time they were to remain, date of discharge, number of meals consumed while at the almshouse and remarks.
