Description: A 1917 act of the Pennsylvania Assembly required all persons desirous of conducting business under an assumed or fictitious name to register a certificate with the county in which the business was to be conducted. An act of the Pennsylvania Assembly of 1957 required the same of corporations desirous of using a fictitious name.
Content: The papers will include the fictitious or business name, persons and addresses of those interested in the business, the address where the business will be conducted, and the signatures of those interested in the business. Papers may also include publications of intent to use the fictitious name, additions and withdrawals of individuals concerned, and cancellation of interest in the fictitious name.
